Toner cartridges are one of the things that makes laser printers an expensive investment, that is the reason why people prefer buying inkjet printers instead of laser ones for household use. But nowadays, laser printers can be bought at affordable prices. This has made it hard to make a selecting between laser and ink jet printers. Print Quality: Inkjet printers work exceedingly well for HD photos and documentations. They are exceptional in amalgamation of smooth colors.

Cost: Inkjet printers are quite low in terms of cost. They are quite cheaper than laser printers; similarly, the ink cartridges are lower-priced than laser printer toner cartridges, INITIALLY.

Applicability: Inkjets are quite handy when you need to print onto multiple sorts of paper texture, be it a glossy brochure or a rough-textured business card, inkjet printers will give you fine printing,

Expenses:

Sharpness: Small fonts and fine line are required to be printed using laser printers as they can produce darker black text with sharper edges. When your printing needs are majorly based on the text, then laser printers are the safe bet.

Time Consuming: Certainly, laser printers are faster in speed, but they take a considerable amount of time to warm-up.

Initial Price: The expense of the laser printers on the long term basis is quite low, but its upfront costs is far more than the laser printers. The toner cartridges in laser printers last longer.

Print quality: Home laser printers are great for sharp and simple graphics, but when it comes to smooth photographs,  they give a below per printing output.
